SOUTH AUSTRALIA v. VICTORIA. HOME TEAM’S GOOD SCORE. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) ADELAIDE, December 6. (Received Dec. 6, at 11.50 p.m.) South Australia in the first innings made 481 (Rymill 142). Blackie took 7 wickets foy 159. Victoria has one down for 116 (Woodfull 53, not out), Ponsford 54. The weather was fine and the wicket was good. Rymill opened confidently,and batted brilliantly throughout. He scored freely with attractive strokes, hitting with power and placing with wonderful precision. The bowling appeared to lack sting. Woodfull and Ponsford opened cautiously, but by careful batting slowly added to the score. Both batted with confidence. Victoria in its first innings made 315.
