F'ridav, November 19. (Before Air 11. AV. Bundle, S.M.) BREACH OF ORDER. For entering licensed premises during the currency of a prohibition order, Henry Richard Brett was fined 40s, and costs (7s). MAINTENANCE. Ernest Dickens, who was charged with disobedience of a maintenance order, on which he was in arrears to the extent of £206 11s 4d, was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment in Dunedin Gaol, the warrant to bo suspended conditional on defendant paying £1 10s per week off tho order, the first payment to be made on November 24. Defendant was also ordered to report weekly to the police. BY-LAAV CASES. For being in charge of an unlighted motor car, Philip Francis Harro was fined ss, and costs (7s). A fine of Ss, and costs (7s), was imposed on Hugh Gordon Paul for cycling on the footpath. James Caskio was fined ss, and costs (7s), for having removed the surface of the’ footpath in Alva street, St. Kilda, without first having obtained the necesssary permission.
