BRITISH LIBERALS

RE-ESTABLISHMENT OP UNITY. MR LLOYD GEORGE’S OFFER. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, November 18. The Daily News states that Mr Lloyd George has unconditionally offered to place the whole of the interest from his famous “war chest” at the disposal of the Liberal Party, excepting that the cost of the land campaign, and of the industrial inquiry shall be first charges on it. This is the outcome of the deliberations of a sub-committee which is seeking a method of re-establishing Liberal unity, especially in regard to finance and organisation. It proposes the establishment of a new management committee agreeable to all parties under a neutral chairman.— Sydney Sun Cable.
