CALCUTTA ELECTIONS
WOMEN SHOW LITTLE INTEREST. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Cop-right.) DELHI, November 18. Polling scenes at North and South Calcutta were marked by much excitement. At one point a free fight developed. The authorities had armoured cars in readi ness, but they were unnecessary. Women were entitled to vote for the first time, but very few exercised the right.—Sydney Sun Cable.
