MEXICAN RIVER OVERFLOWS. FOURTEEN DEATHS REPORTED. (Free* Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) NEW YORK, September 26. Despatches from Mexico City report fourteen deaths and damage to property estimated at 1,000,000 pesos in Central and Southern Guanajuato as the result of the overflowing of the Lerma River, due to unprecedented rains, which sent the valley settlers to the high lands. All the crops in a radius of 300 kilometres have been lost, and transportation is at a standstill.—A, and N.Z. Cable.
