GREETINGS TO KING
AX ABORIGINAL’S MESSAGE. LONDON, September 10. Mr Jack Maclaren, the Australian author, has delivered at Buckingham Palace a message from the tribal monarch, King Nararkad, who lives at Cape York, Queensland. The message is as follows: “I hear that the white men s King is gi-eat, wise, and kind. I, too, am a great king. Give the King my greetings, and say I hope he will keep the love of his people as I hope to keep the love of mine.”
