A MORIBUND ASSOCIATION.
MEMBER’S SEVERE CRITICISM. (Peb United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, September 23. The Wellington Automobile Association was bluntly told by one of its members yesterday that it was a failure and was not doing its work. He said it was doing nothing, whereas it was supposed to spend subscriptions on roads. It had only 1600 members, and ought to have 4000, but nobody would join under present conditions. He proposed that the roads to Palmerston North and Wairarapa should be sign-posted, and camping grounds instituted. It was decided to print the proposals and hold a special meeting to consider them. A VALUABLE CARGO. DAIRY PRODUCE SHIPMENT. (Feb United Press association.) AUCKLAND, September 23. The Corinthic sailed for London to-day with a cargo chiefly of meat and dairy produce valued at £1,250,000, included in which are 60,000 boxes of butter—of which 6500' were loaded at Auckland—4ooo crates of cheese, and 2000 cases of dried milk.
