PRODUCTION OF JUTE
RECORD CROP IN INDIA. (Press Association—By Te:egraph—Copyright.) DELHI, September 22. The final forecast of the Indian jute yield shows a record crop of nearly 11,000,000 bales, each containing 4001 b. The increase is 2,000,000 bales over last year. Altogether 3,630,000 acres are under jute, the increase being 515,000 acres.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
