It was reported at the monthly meeting of the executive of the St. John Ambulance Association that last month had been an exceptionally busy ono for both the nursing staff and the ambulances. Reference was made to the excellent service rendered by the _ motor circle of the Otago Women’s Club in conveying convalescent patients to their homes, and giving them outings. This had lately been extended to include the inmates of the Csversham Home. A proposal to appoint an organiser to extend' the work of the association in country districts was referred to a sub-committee to report upon.
