INFLUENZA MENACE.
PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES CHRISTCHURCH PREPARED. (Peb United Pbess Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, May 29. Within 48 hours, if necessary, an organisation to cope with any influenza outbreak could bn put into operation in Christchurch. That was announced at a conference of citizens promoted by the district health officer yesterday. It, was stressed that the arrangements were purely precautionary, and there was no need foi alarm.
