BOY CYCLIST FINED.
MAGISTRATE’S WARNING, J ' (Feb United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH; May 80. A warning to boys who ride bicycles, in a dangerous manner was issued in the Children’s Court yesterday, when a boy appeared on a charge of ■cycling on a foot*, path In Manchester street. “That is the worst of yon boys. Ton seem to think you can do anything,” said Mr H. Y, Widdowson, S.M. “You don’t seem to take any heed.” In reply to the Magistrate, the boy’s mother said that the bicycle was necessary for his work. “I shall have to consider very seriously whether some boys shall be allowed to ride bicycles or not,” said the Magistrate. A fine of 5s was imposed.
