His memory was, however, befuddled on thi» point. • To-day’s tale is that his second matrimonial venture was with a New Zealander, and later he married a third wife in America. His confessions indicate a Jekvll and Hyde past. They include the killing of a man in Germany, after a quarrel over a woman.
