BURGLARY AT GISBORNE.

■WATCHES AND BROOCHES STOLEN. (Pbp United Press Association.! GISBORNE, April 10. Early this morning a window in the shop of W. V. Piesse, jeweller, in Gladstone road, was broken with a stone, and nickel watches and gold and greenstone brooches to the value of £3O stolen. The constable on the beat reported that ths window was intact at 5 o’clock in the morning. The matter was reported to the police an hour and a-half later.
