THE DAIRY CONTROL BOARD.
TO TBB EDITOR. Sir, —It would appear that Messrs Grounds, Good fellow, and Co. are beginning to feel very insecure in their seats on the Dairy Board. Presumably they find it necessary to adopt such outrageous methods as they have determined on in order to retain them. Never in the history of the Dominion or of any other British country hare such gro-sly unfair tactice been attempted in connection with such an election, and It is a marvel they have the audacity to promulgate them. Their action Is a clinching argument against their absolutism. The Dairy Control Act in its nresent form became Jawthrough sheer bluff. The Absolute Controlists secured thoir seats by more bluff and now they are attempting to retain them by still more blutf. The cable published by Mr Grounds the other day was a fair example of the tactics he and his friends are employing. It stated that Tooley street was ready to finance the board, but said never a word about the terms and conditions it was imposing.—I am, etc., M* -
