ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
BURNS CAUSE DEATH. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, April 9. Ralph Evan, aged 28 years, married, employed at the Westfield freezing works, died in the hospital from burns, sustained while removing boiling bloou from a digester. A FRACTURED SKULL. (Per United Press Association.) HAMILTON, April 9. Frederick Dublickl, aged 3;5 ycais, was knocked down by a car at Morrinsviile yesterday, and sustained a fractured log and skull. He was admitted to the Waikato Hospital. CHRISTCHURCH, April 9. William Eccles, married, a railway employee, had his left foot badly hurt this morning during shunting operatic..! at Lyttelton. He was oiling the points and did not hear approaching trucks. KNOCKED DOWN BY CAR. As a result of being knocked down by a motor car in Hanover street yesterday afternoon, a boy named James M'Nulty was admitted to the Hospital sulfei a from a compound fracture of the right leg. He was watching the corporation’s concrete mixing plant at work, and was crossing the road to get a nearer view when he was struck. The patient resides at 32 Harrow street.
