CUPS AND TROPHIES. The following are the cup and trophy winners at the Waikouaitl Show: — Orbell Cup, for most points in light horses—Mr J. J. Ross (Waikouaiti), outright. Mr J. M. Smith’s Cup for most points in draught horses —Jno. M’Grath (Weston). The late Mr Fry’s Cup for best cow and two of her progeny—C. Head (Waikouaitl). Society’s cup, for most points In cattle —■ Mr D. Wright (Palmerston). Mrs Townsend’s trophy for most - points in home industries—Mrs Timmins. Kempthorne, Prosser’s Cup for most points In sheep—Mr C. F. Overton (Palmerston ). Waltaki Company's Cup for best butterfat cow —Mr D. Ireland (Goodwood). Waltaki Dairy Company’s Cup for best biitter-fat cow. Nine entries—-Mr D. Ireland’s Logan, 1151 b milk, 4.5 test, 5.171 b butter-fat; Mrs Le Fevre’s (Hillgrove) Alpha, 107, 4.6, 4.92; Mr D. AVright’s (Palmerston), May, 82, 5.6, 4.59; Mr A. J. Jackson's (Waikouaitl) Brownie, 100, 4.5, 4.50. The entries at the Waikouaiti Show totalled 613, as against 408 last year.
