NAVAL VISITORS.

CRUISE OF WARSHIPS. . AUSTRALIAN, FRENCH, AND JAPANESE. (From Ouk Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, January 13. Early in the present year New- Zealand is to have a visit from the Australian fleet,' a French sloop, and a Japanese training ship. The Australian fleet will be represented by H.MA.S.’s Sydney, Adelaide, and Delhi, which will be under the command of Commodore Wardle, the Sydney being the flagship. The commodore, in the Sydney, will visit Dunedin from February 24 28. Lyttelton will be visited by the Adelaide and the Delhi, from February 2o to March 1; Wellington by the Sydney, the Adelaide, and the Delhi, from March 2 to March 6, and Auckland by the Sydney, the Adelaide, and the Delhi from March 8 to March 24. The French war sloop Cassiope (Capitane de Frigate Decoux in command) will be in Dunedin, according to latest advices, from January 21 to February 3, Lyttelton from February 3 to February 7, Wellington from February 7 to February 12, and Auckland from February 21 to March 1. The Japanese training ship Iwate is due at Wellington on February 18, and a visit will also be paid to Auckland.
