The “Breeze, which arrived here early yesterday morning from Wellington, sailed last evening for Timaru and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington and Wanganui. The Karori is to sail to-morrow for Paterson’s Inlet to discharge the remainder of her Westport coal into the bunkers of the whaling vessel Sir James Clark Ross. The Kahika is due at Dunedin to-day from Timaru to load for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne. The Opihi was expected to leave New Plymouth last night for Westport to load for Timaru. After discharge she will come to Dunedin to load for Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth. The Wanaka left Auckland on Saturday evening with general cargo for discharge at Napier, Wellington. She will carry through cargo for Tonga and Samoa, and is expected to clear Sydney on November 3. The Waikouaiti was to leave Hobart on Saturday for Sydney and Newcastle, and returns to Sydney to load for Bluff, Dunedin, Lvttelton, and Timaru. . The C. and D. liner Port Hacking arrived at Wellington on Thursday last from Auckland. She will continue discharge of New York cargo at Lyttelton and Dunedin, and finish at Bluff. KARTIGI EXPECTED TO-DAY The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the new steamer Kartigi is due at Dunedin to-day from Montreal, via northern ports to discharge the remainder of her Canadian cargo. The vessel will then be handed over to her owner, the Union Steam Ship Company. RARANGA SAILS. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Line steamer Earanaga, which arrived at Dunedin on the morning of September 2G from London, via Panama and Suva, sailed early yesterday morning for Lyttelton to continue discharging Home cargo and load for the United Kingdom. The Raranga was held up hero for about two weeks owing to her crew refusing duty. From Lyttelton she will proceed to Timaru to complete discharge and continue loading. TREVEEBYN FEOM NEW YORK. The local agents for the A. and A. Line advise that the steamer Treverbyn arrived at Wellington on Friday from Auckland, to continue her discharge of New lork cargo. From Wellington the vessel will proceed to Lyttelton, thence Dunedin and Australian ports, to complete discharge. KENT DUE ON THURSDAY. Messrs Turnbull, Martin, and Co. advise that the Federal Line steamer Kent, which has been delayed at Wellington owing to heavy rain, is due at Dunedin on Thursday to discharge the remainder of her general cargo from Liverpool. The vessel will afterwards load at Dominion ports for England under the auspices of the New Zealand Shipping Company. THE -CANADIAN PROSPECTOR. Messrs H. L. Tapley and Co. advise that the Canadian Prospector is now due at Dunedin on Sunday next from Montreal, via Panama and northern ports to discharge a quantity of Canadian cargo and load for New York, Boston, and Halifax. The large cargo steamer Leitrim, which ■was held up at Auckland for several weeks on account of the seamen’s strike, arrived at Port Chalmers on Sunday afternoon. She was berthed at the Bowen wharf to discharge a largo quantity of general merchandise from England. The Leitrim, which is to the agency of the Federal Line, loaded her cargo at Newport (Monmouthshire), Avonmouth, Glasgow, and Liverpool, and took her final departure from the histnamed port on June 27. She arrived at Panama on July 13, and resumed her voyage to New Zealand the following day. The vessel arrived at Auckland on August G. The Leitrim is under the command of Captain A.
