VICTIM OF NEGLIGENCE., (Feb Untted Press Association.) AUCKLAND, September 12. At the inquest on Mrs Mary MTOnrie, who died as the result of a motor accident a - , Onohunga on August: 13. the coroner (Mr MTCean, >S.M.) found that death was due to injuries received from a motor va.n driven by James Bridge, due to excessive speed and negligent driving. He had adjourned the inquest, to hear the medical evidence. Tho coroner remarked further that: he presumed other proceedings would follow. MARRIED WOMAN’S DEATH. >Peb United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, September 15. Jessie Stewart, married, residing at Epsom, was found dead on a table in her residence with a gas jet, beside her. An inquest was held to-day, when a verdict of suicide was returned. MOTORING ACCIDENT (Peb United Press Association.) WELLINGTON. September 13. Michael James Bird, a married man, aged 53 yoars, an accountant at T. and W. Young’s chemical works, Wellington, was killed in a car accident in the Carlton-Gore road, Rosenoath, at 5.10 p.m. on Saturday, the car dropping over a bank 40ft in height. The other occupants were Messrs WaJlburton, manager of Messrs Aulsebrook’s in Wellington (who was removed to the hospital in an unconscious condition), and Henry Joseph Mac Du IT (who is suffering from shock and slight injuries).
