PENINSULA ROAD BOARD.

The monthly meeting of the Peninsula Road Board was attended by Messrs W. —. Stewart (chairman), G. Donaldson, D. Young, and J. "W. Fartjnii*r. Mrs B. Pritchard advised that her tea rooms were now closed.—lt was resolved that the registration fee should be refunded. Complaints were received regarding wandering cattle in the district. —It was decided to take steps to stop the nuisance. Owing to pressure of business Mr D. J. S. Robertson forwarded his resignation as a member of the board.—The resignation was accepted with regret, appreciation being expressed of the valuable services Mr Robertson had rendered during his long connection with the board.
