GERMANS FROM POLAND
REPATRIATION PROBLEMS. A NEGLECTFUL FATHERLAND. ■ Prut Association — By Telegraph—Copyright. BERLIN, August 3. A collapse of the organisation for the repatriation from Poland of persons choosing German citizenship resulted in 8000 being crowded into an aerodrome at Schneidemuhl (Prussia) under scandalous conditions. The newspapers point out that the authorities were aware that repatriation must be completed by September 1, yet nothing was done. Germans from Poland were received as pestering beggars, whereas Poland received Poles, repatriated from Germany, through triumphal arches.-—Sydney wun Cable.
