LEITH CLUB. Tho first animal meeting of the Leith Bowling Club was Held on Monday evening in the George Street School Hall. Mr John Gray (president) occupied the chair. The President, in moving the adoption of the annual report and balance sheet, stated that the past year had been one of beginnings, and the work that had been done, in making an unsightly spot beautiful had elicited favourable comment. The memberc.iiip, all things considered, had .been good. The'croquet section was looking forward to better limes. AVilh regard to building a pavilion, rough plans had boon considered and in i’hc meantime arrangements had been made to erect a small clubhouse.
