(Received July 12, at 5.5 p.m.) Alexander Ferguson, aged 32 years, has received a cablegram from relatives in Ayrshire, Scotland, stating that a bachelor uncle in Australia, named Donald Ferguson, has bequeathed to him £50,000 conditional on his many in g, Alexander Ferguson was seriously wounded in the war, and came to Canada in April. He had no friends and little money, and since then he walked from place to place unsuccessfully seeking employment until the news came. He declares that he will settle in Canada and take time to choose a wife.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
