Mr Edward Gross, secretary of the United States Lawn Tennis Association, announces that W. T. Tilden has obtained release from the clause in his contract with a newspaper syndicate requiring him to report the National Lawn Tennis championships and the Davis Cup matches, thus making him available for the coming interriational competition. LONDON, June 11 Sporting Life says that enough has been seen of Anderson at Beckenham to justify the belief that he will recover the championship at Wimbledon for Australia in spite of French opposition.
