• IRRITABLE PRIMA DONNA. LONDON, May 21. Mme. Jeritza, the prima donna, who recently so annoyed another singer that, the latter spat at her "on the stage, has been the centre of- another unrehearsed scene at the Vienna Opera House. The singer made a sarcastic remark regarding Mr Alfred Piccaver, thei English tenor star, when she noticed that the latter was more loudly applauded. Mr Piccaver withdrew from .the stage, remarking that ho was not going to lose his job through quarrelling with Mrhe Jeritza.
