PENINSULA ROAD BOARD.
At the monthly meeting of the Penin9>da Road Board there were present Alessrs W. D. Stewart (chairman), G. Donaldson, D. Young. J. Landreth, and J. W. Farquhar. Air Donaldson, a newly-elected member, was welcomed by the chairman. The Clerk was instructed to attend to the matter of registration of eating houses in the district, and the collecting of the registration foes. The Clerk was appointed inspector under the Afotor Regulations Act, 1925. The Emrinoer was authorised to make application for a public works grant for the Hooper’s Inlet-Sandymount road. Notice of motion was given that the rates for the current year should bo a e-on-oral rate of one penny in the £, and a hospital and charitable aid rate of throoolg’mhs of a penny in the £ on the. capital value of all rateable property in the "district.
