In the wondow at the High Commissioner's Office there is a fresh display, arranged with good taste, of many varieties of dominion apples. The fruit is perfect, and some of it has the bloom looking as just off the tree. The display is sot in decorative baskets, and at intervals there are lettered cards giving useful information. Hut the eye of (he passer-by is specially attracted by the cabinet containing a travelling advertisement which tells that the fruit industry of the dominion is only at present in its infancy, and mentions various points about its careful grading, and so on. A fruit show might be on a large scale, but nothing could eclipse the present show from the points of view of condition and quality.
