Remits wore carried urging that orchard instructional classes bo arranged and that an expert bo appointed to organise and teach packing classes in the principal export centres, and particularly in conjunction with technical schools; that the American size rose be tried out to ascertain i! there would be any advantage by changing; that a scheme be developed whereby poor quality fruit may he utilised so that it is not placed in (he open market; that the necessity of stopping the sale of all .pip fruit under commercial grade except a by-product of the farmers bo considered.
