SIXTY YEARS AGO.

In the Supreme Court yesterday William Ford and Ellen Anderson were indicted for murdering George Krenser (“Herman Charley”). The prisoners under the advice of their counsel, Mr Wilson, made separate challenges of jurors for th©_ purpose of securing separate trials, which Mr Wilson had stated he desired; and Anderson was then removed, and Ford was indieted alone. The Court sat until six o’clock, and the jurors were then sent in custody to Hoopers Hot-el. The trial will certainly occupy the whole of to-day.
