BANDITS SENTENCED TO DEATH. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. BAGDAD, June 11. The tw'o Arabs who were tried in connection with the attack on the motor convoy were sentenced to death.—Reuter, Bandits fired at a convoy of two motorcars which were proceeding to Beyrout across the desert, killing the wife of the French Vice-Consul, at Bagdad. They ransacked the luggage in one car. The second car put on speed and escaped. Armoured cars and aeroplanes pursued them.
