If that is so. why dp they not start a church of advanced thinkers? I.et put their hands in thfeir pcekohs ami bringout enough money to build a modem ehurc.h. costing about: £SOOO or £5000; then provide another £SOO or £6OO a year for upkeep and salary: and then procure a minister of advanced modern thought who will serve out. to them a nice, soothing “dope” for Uteir mental absorption. After receiving this, (hey would no doubt put their hands into their pockets again and build homes for the unfortunate aged and the orphans, and also provide money for home ’and foreign missions.
