AN ERRING ACCOUNTANT.
REFORMATIVE DETENTION. (Feb United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, December 10. Alexander Robertson, 37 years of age. accountant, was sentenced to two years’ reformative detention to-day on charges of fraudulent conversion, falsification of accounts, and bigamy. It was stated Uiat the accused came to Auckland from New Plymouth and wont on a drinking bout, and was arrested for obtaining £lO by false pretences. On the afternoon of the day when ho was allowed out on bail he went through the form of marriage with a young girl. Prisoner’s wife had written to say that she would take him back and forgive him.
