ENCOURAGING OVERSEAS PRODUCTS.

The Colonial Institute, in conjunction with the Commonwealth Commercial Department, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, the British. Empire League, the Empire Producers Organisation, the Empire Development Union, and several similar organisations under the chairmanship of Professor H. R. Kenwood, will meet in January for the purpose of inaugurating an Imperial Food Council and promoting the consumption of overseas products. —A. and N.Z. Cable.
Professor Kenwood since 1894 has been medical officer of health and public analyst for the Metropolitan Board of Stoke Newington. * He is also a late civilian member of the Army Medical Advisory Board, and is an honorary Lieutenant-Colonel in the R.A.M.C. He is Chadwick Professor of Hygiene and Public Health in the University of London.
