ROME, December 9. {Received Dec. 10, at 10.40 p.m.J _ The Council of the League of Nations agreed to the British proposal to postpone the discussion of t|ie Geneva Protocol until next session. M. Briand and Signor Salandra were among those who approved the proposal. The Council decided to convene in May, 1926, an international conference to draw up a convention controlling the international traffic in arras and munitions, in which the United States has agreed to participate. It was also decided to summon for February 16. 1925, the committee which is examining the question of the private manufacture of arms and munitions. — Reuter.
