CITY POLICE COURT.
Wednesday, December 10. (Before Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S.M.) By-law Breaches.—George Josiah Calder pleaded guilty to a charge of failing to notify the registering authority of the change of ownership of a motor car.—He was lined ss, with costs (7s). Charles Daniel, who did not appear, was charged with, on October 13, driving a motor car from Cumberland street into Stuart street without keeping as near as possible to the left hand aide of the road.— Defendant was fined 10s. with costs (7s). Maintenance. —Application .was made by Daisy Blanche Edwards for an order for the maintenance of her dangler, the defendant being John EdwM-ds.—Mr T. O'Shea appeared for complaint.—Mrs Edwards stated that she had obtained a decree nisi against her husband in May last, and that it had been made absolute in November. There was one child of the marriage. She bad received no maintenance since ,T<inn—An order was made for the payment of 20s per week, payment of £25 tor past maintenance, with costs (£3 3s),
