The ordinary meeting of the Otago Land Board was hold yesterday and was attended by Messrs E. S. Galbraith (chairman), C. JInder, Geo. Livingston, T. A. Munro, and Jas. Smith. APPLICATIONS FOR LAND. D. J. Donaldson applied to purchase sections 92 and 93, block 11, Tiger Hill Survey district, 18a Ir 19p.—Declined. John E. Corboy applied for an o.r.p. license over sections 32 and 36, block VII, Tarraa district.—Declined. John Reid applied to purchase an area of about one acre at Lowburn, adjoining section 26, block V, Wakefield district. —Del dined. Andrew Sharp (Ltd.) applied to purchase section 14, block VII, Gatlins district, area 172 a Ir 20p.—Consideration deferred until a report is obtained. John Butler applied for a yearly license over area of about two acres adjoining his freehold in block X, Sutton district. —Declined. Application by H. C. Barker for license to occupy for pastoral purposes an area of approximately 16,000 acres in the Matukituki district.—Granted under section 130 of the Land Act 1908 at annual rental of £5, subject to conditions agreed to by Messrs Barker and Aspinall. Andrew Carruthers, lessee of section 14s, Pukeawa Settlement, selected on November 18, 1921, applied for a revaluation of his holding.—Referred to Revaluation Committee. MISCELLANEOUS.

Robert Collier applied for permission to place a few sheep m a paddock on Tate's farm for a few weeks.—Permission granted to graze 90 owes for six weeks from the Ist inst. at IJd per head per week. A. Shiels applied for permission to graze 10 to 12 head of young cattle on Wright’s farm at Puerua.—Action confirmed in granting permission at rent of £2 per month, subject to conditions. The board was asked to consider the question of determination of license over sections 1 to 16, block XVI, and 50, block XXIX, town of Herbert, the property having been abandoned. —License determined.
