A FATAL QUARREL
FOOTBALLERS COME TO BLOWS. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, December 8. (Received Dec. 9, at 10 p.m.) During an association football match in Phoenix Park, Dublin, two players argued over an alleged foul. Blows were struck and the referee ordered the men off the field. The scuffle was renewed on the sideline, and in its course one player, named O’Brien, fell. He died in hospital a few hours later.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
