FLOWER SHOW.
The Dunedin Horticultural Society's summer show of roses and other flowers mil bo held in the Art Gallery Hall today. when a collection of brilliant flowers will be exhibited. Though the entries in the competitive classes for roses are not so numerous as last year, it is anticipated that the rose will ho the dominant feature of tiro show. Other out flowers, principally sweet peas, will bo there in abundance, and with the decorative and floral work, fruit, and vegetables, a thoroughly representative exhibition should eventuate. Many promises have been received of tables for “exhibition orly,” and these are always a source of interest as they generally Contain something that is rare as well as beautiful. The snow will bo open to the public from 1.30 till 10 p.m.
