SALE OF WORK.
ST. MICHAEL’S. ANDERSON’S BAT.
A successful sale of work was held in the schoolroom at St. Michael and All Angels’ Church, Anderson’s Bay, yesterday afternoon and evening, the proceeds of which were devoted to the ordinary church funds. There was a fairly large attendance during the afternoon, but in the evening the hall was crowded, and the stalls were soon depleted of their choice variety of goods. The following were the stall-holders: Guild Stall. —Mesdames Fenton, Gall, Clatworthy, and Miss Clatworthy. Handkerchief and Doyley Stall.—Misses M‘Naught and Heatley. Cake Stall.— Mesdames Aitken and M’Gown. , Variety Stall.—Messrs Heatley and Cockorill.
