(Received Dec. 8, at 5.6 p.m.) Tlie Daily Express lobbyist states tuat the prominence given to Empire affairs will bo a distinctive feature of the Bang s Speech. It will announce a policy of constant consultation with the dominions through the High Commissioners, and will state that Britain wlil not declare judgment on the Geneva Protocol till the views of the dominions have been ascertained. Preference on the lines agreed to by the Imperial Conference of 1923 will restored, and it is expected that the Budget will •’rabody it. The dominions will be invited to make suggestions on preference from time to time.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
