A BRUTAL ASSAULT.
FARMER AWARDED HEAVY DAMAGES. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, November 19. At the Supremo Court, Clinie James Drake, a farmer, ox Waeranga, was awarded £551 damages against Harry White Fretwell and Thomas Malcolm Fret-well for a cowardly and brutal assault on the Te Kawhata road on August 21, 1925, for which the accused are now serving a sentence of three years’ imprisonment.
