SALE OF A SCHOONER. Pr*» Awociation—By Tetegrapli—Copjrri«lii. SYDNEY, September 20. The five-masted schooner H. K. Hall has been sold to New Zealand buyers subject to inspection. The H. K. Hall, which is a vessel o! 1237 tons, was built at Port Blakeley, Washington, in 1902. Her dimensions are: Length, 225 ft; breadth; 42ft, depth, 18ft. STRIKE AT LITHGOW GASWORKS. SYDNEY, September 20. A strike at the gasworks at Lithgow is threatening to put the residents and manufacturers to great inconvenience. As a result of a dispute over wages the men ceased work yesterday. The supply of gas is running low. DOCKYARD LABOTJRERS' STRIKE. MELBOURNE, September 20. A strike occurred among the men employed at the Williamstown. dockyard over wages. The unioa claims that between 40 and 50 men, are aHected, but the Harbour Trust Commissioners state that only eleven labourers struck.
