PORT CHALMERS SAILING CLUB

ANNEAL MEETING. Tho annual meeting of the Port Chalmers Sailing Club was held in tho club shed, there being a good attendance of members present The annual report and balance sheet showed the club to bo in a, satisfactory position, with a credit balance of £2l 7s sd. During the evening feeling reference was made to the retirement of Mr H. E. Mollor from the position of president of the association. Mr Moller had been _ for years an untiring worker in aquatic interests, and never allowed secondary influences to alter hie sense of justice. A resolution that the meeting place on record its appreciation of the services rendered to yachting in Otago Harbour by Mr Moller, and also that the meeting sincerely regretted hie retirement from tho presidency of the Otago Yacht and Motor Boat Association was earned unanimously. The election of officers resulted as follows; Commodore, Mr G. A. Wiseman; vice-com-modore, Mr C. Smith; rear-commodore, Mr A. Carrington; secretary and treasurer, Mr F. Percy; assistant secretary, Mr F. Holden; auditor, Mr J. H. Crawford; General Committee—Messrs Collett, Camp, H. Watson. J. Bain, A. Holden, C. Timlin, H. Dale, M. Cottle, and n.
