Press Aesoclation—By Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, September’ 12. The House of Representatives sat continuously for 25 hours discussing the Estimates. The speakers chiefly devoted themselves to the vote for the new cruisers. A motion in favour of a reduction of the vote was eventually defeated. Mr Hughes voted with Labour against the Government. The Naval Estimates were then passed. .
