THE SALVATION ARMY.
The Salvation Army arranges on one Sunday of each year young people’s conferences in all the centres of the dominion, and Dunedin’s meetings will take place in the Y.W.C.A. Hall, Moray place, to-mor-row. Commissioner and Mrs Hoggard arrived from Wellington on Thursday evening, and will control the gatherings. In addition to the city and suburbs, country districts will be represented, the farthest afield being Cromwell. A large staff will assist in the gatherings, which conclude with a monster programme in the Fortress on Monday.
