Patrick Mahon, the murderer, as a result of his hunger strike, is in a serious condition. Ho has not taken food since his appeal. It is now reported that ho is virtually in a state of collapse, and is oblivious to his surroundings. Despite his condition, ho is forced to take exercise, but no attempts are made forcibly to feed him. His execution is fixed for September 3.—A. and N.Z. Cable.
