OTAGO RUGBY LEAGUE.

A meeting of Rugby League supporters in the South Dunedin area was held last evening at the League’s rooms, there being an attendance of 25. Mr H. C. Gore presided The chairman stated that tho meet i, ir , had been convened for the purpose of establishing a club, and he trusted that the meeting would be productive of some good. Those present need have no fear as to tho success of the league as he was quite certain that those responsible for the calling of the mooting' were determined to make every success of tho League code in Otago, There was no doubt thq game was going to prosper here . It was resolved on the motion of Mr Pi. Gcrric, that a club be established, to be known as the Pacific Rugby Football League Club. The following committee was sot up :—Chairman, Mr H. C. Gore: secretary, Mr B. Brown; assistant secretary, Mr J. Hartley; committee —Messrs IT. Llovd M. Levie, E. Davis, J. Wall. W. Bullot, A. Davis, S. Ringrose, J. Hamih. j. Fitzpatrick, E. Gerrie, E. Longworth, W. M. Seddon. It was decided to apply for the registration of royal blue as ihe club’s colours. Tho Chairman intimated that he would present six jerseys. The matter of membership fee was held over.
