A public meeting was held in the Schoolhouse, Waitahuna, on Saturday, 15th August, relative to the appointment of a medical practitioner for the district of Waitahuna. C. Worthington, Esq., in the ohair. It Was proposed and seconded, “ That this meeting nso its best endeavours to induce a qualified medical practitioner to reside in the district.” A Committee was appointed to carry out the views thus expressed. . .
