ACCLIMATISATION SOCIETY.

MEETING OF COUNCIL. The monthly meeting of the council o the Otago Acclimatisation-Society was hell last evening, those' being present include the following:—-Messrs C. P. The chairman of tn committee had reported that there had been no sale for the fallow deer skins re- ; ceived from Mr T. Chapman, Rotigahere. The committee recommended that it be left to the chairman of the committee -to dispose of the skins—The report was adopted.
