• ST: CLAIR CLUB ; CHAMPIONSHIP. C. B. WRIGHT THE WINNER. The final of the St. Clair Club championship yas nlayed over 36 holes, and was won by C.‘ B- "Wright, who defeated D, M. Irvmo, H up and 10 to play. The winner played excellent golf throughout, having a lead of 9 up at the end of the first round, with a score of 74. .... , Although Irvine was not playing his usual good game, it was very evident in the second round that he would haro had lo play exceedingly well !o reduce Wright’s lead. However, the iat ten continued to maintain his good form, which was superior to that of his opponent, the match finishing on the 26th green. JUNIOR CUP. In the Junior Cup final T. Gillespie beat 11. Hooper, 2 up and 1 to play. A. medal match was played on the Balmaccwcn Links on Thursday. The best scores were as follows; Senior. —Mrs Callender, 99, 19—80; Miss N. Glondining, 91 TO —81; Mrs M'Carthy, 88 —jjy ; Mrs Lambert, 104, ‘20—84. Junior. —Miss Finch, 119, 36—83; Miss I. Hart, 122, 36—86; Miss I. Rattray, 103. 21— 83.
